FFT is excited to invite you to our Christmas social, in which we will be heading to Matt and Phred’s jazz bar in the Northern Quarter, for an evening of great company and great music. We will be graced by the very talented Ellen Beth-Abdi band who will be performing some of Billie Holiday’s most loved and timeless pieces.
The band is made up of vocalist Ellen Beth-Abdi who will be leading a fabulous quartet featuring Bim Williams (guitar), Andy Patterson (double bass) and Ruben Sheridan (drums) and will be performing from 8pm - 11pm.
As we have reserved a section of the venue, you are welcome to arrive before the band start as well as stay afterwards to catch up with those attending the event, with the venue open till late.
Matt and Phred’s is the perfect venue to bring in the festivities with familiar faces and new ones too. In terms of food, Matt and Phred’s offer a range of affordable pizzas which can be ordered on the night. Each ticket will include two drinks tokens.
Tickets are limited so if you want to join FFT in appreciating some incredible jazz artists on the 4th of December get your hands on them quickly.
6pm - 8pm: Doors open, people are welcome to arrive (good opportunity to make the most of the pizza deals that M&P's have on offer).
8pm - 11pm: Jazz performance.
