Meet the Master
Meet the Master is a new podcast and video series produced collaboratively by fbe, Invennt, and the Worshipful Company of Constructors. The series spotlights leaders, innovators, and organisations shaping the built environment - delivering short, high-quality episodes and re-purposable clips that keep members connected to the most important conversations in the sector.
What is Meet the Master?
Meet the Master is a guest-led podcast and video series built for modern distribution. Each episode features a two-person conversation with a leader, innovator, or sector expert that’s recorded in a studio setting, edited for clarity, and designed to be genuinely worth watching.
Format:
Short, conversational episodes — approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
Multi-camera studio recording with professional editing.
Filler removed, conversation kept authentic.
Full episodes hosted on fbe and Worshipful Company of Constructors YouTube channels.
Short clips are repurposed for LinkedIn, Reels, Shorts, and other platforms
Why we’re doing this
The series also supports fbe's reach with younger audiences through short-form vertical video, helping connect early-career professionals with senior industry conversations.
Members value insight from credible voices, practical perspectives on industry challenges, and visibility for member-led initiatives. Meet the Master supports all three - and strengthens collaboration across fbe, the Worshipful Company of Constructors, and aligned partners.
Core Themes
The series is built around topics that matter to members and the wider built environment industry:
Leadership and the future of the built environment.
Mental health and wellbeing in construction.
Skills development, shortages, and early-career pathways.
Diversity, inclusion, and social mobility.
Innovation and digital transformation.
Commercial resilience, growth, and finance.
Sustainability and policy outlook.

The opening series features a guest mix (which will grow as the series develops) designed to balance social impact, innovation, commercial insight, and policy perspective.
This mix aligns with fbe priorities and the Worshipful Company of Constructors' leadership and charitable themes.
