FFT is hitting the streets of Manchester for an Urban sketching workshop on the 2nd July led by the wonderful @Len Grant. Whether you’re prone to a sketch or two or you want to try something new, this is a great opportunity to meet some new people and appreciate some of the places you already know and love.
We’d recommend you bring a few things along:
A stool or camping chair so you can sit down and sketch
A fineliner pen.
An inexpensive sketchbook. Len suggests A5 but A4 is good too.
We’ll be meeting at Ancoats Coffee Co at 4pm where you’ll get the chance to grab a quick coffee (included in the ticket price) whilst Len will give us a quick briefing. We will then head out into Ancoats and start sketching until 6pm which is when the session will end. Then there will be an opportunity to head to a nearby pub (preferably one with one of Len’s sketches in).
