Join us for a unique morning of networking, learning, and behind-the-scenes discovery at Nottingham Mill Co-op - a community flour mill and bakery space in the heart of Nottingham city.
This special event offers the chance to explore how locally grown grain is transformed into flour while hearing about the co-op’s mission to build a thriving local food system that prioritises sustainability, community wellbeing, and local prosperity. You’ll learn how the mill supports small-scale food producers through shared workspace, specialist equipment, training, and collaboration, all while helping reconnect people with where their food comes from.
The morning will include an informal tour of the mill, insight into how the milling process works, and discussion around the future of local food systems and community-led enterprise. Whether your interests are in regeneration, placemaking, sustainability, or simply discovering an inspiring Nottingham project, this promises to be a genuinely different and thought-provoking event.
Funds raised through ticket sales from our wider events programme will be donated to Nottingham Mill Co-op to support its ongoing community work and educational activities, making your attendance a direct contribution to an important local initiative.
Tea and coffee will be provided, with plenty of opportunity for conversation and networking throughout the session.
