BRANCH COMMITTEE DISCOUNTS
Recognising the volunteers who make fbe branches work
fbe and fft branch committee members give significant time planning events, building local networks, and keeping built environment communities running across the UK. We've now formalised a consistent national discount structure to recognise that contribution fairly and simply.
Why this matters
Different branches have historically operated different practices - some roles received free membership, others a partial discount, others paid in full. We've moved away from that inconsistency and towards a single fair national standard that reflects the real contribution committee members make.

DISCOUNT STRUCTURE
Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer — 50% refund on annual membership
All other active committee members — 25% refund on annual membership
CONDITIONS
The committee member must be confirmed in their role in the 2026 AGM minutes and proceedings. Discounts cannot be processed without this confirmation.
The committee member must be a current, paid-up fbe member for 2026/2027. If they have not yet renewed, they will need to do so first — the refund will be processed once membership is active.
Refunds will be returned to the account from which the membership payment was made.
HOW TO CLAIM
Committee members should email the Admin Team to request their refund.
The email must contain the following;
State the member's current committee position.
Have the branch Chair copied in (cc'd) to the email.
Requests can be submitted from the 25th of May 2026
