We invite you to come take a guided tour through Irk Valley, which is, perhaps, one of the most fascinating areas of Manchester. Before the industrial revolution it was a bucolic place, before becoming overridden by factories and slums.

There is now huge investment and ambition to regenerate the district, with combined efforts from the Far East Consortium, Manchester City Council and partners, including grand plans for new residential buildings and a vast park.

Artist Simon Buckley will retrace his project for The Manchester Collective, exploring the valley's haunting history and looking to its future.
