SHEFFIELD FBE SHAKE OFF THE 2010 BLUES

There was an optimistic feel to the Sheffield FBE Xmas get together at the new Leopold Hotel in Sheffield on Wednesday 8 December 2010.

50 members and guests were greeted by the Sheffield Chairman, David Jones who said many people in the room would be glad to see the back of 2010 but there did seem to be some optimism for the coming year. He was delighted to see so many of our delegates and guests (although he did suggest that it was possibly because there was free food and drinks).

David thanked his committee for their sterling work during the year and reiterated that the branch were actively looking for new members.

The first event of the year on Tuesday 11th January would be a speaker from KPMG on the results of the Comprehensive Spending Review

Having drunk the place dry various members of the FBE team went off for a curry!!
