RIBA Student Mentoring | Become a mentor today

Just dropping you a short note as it's that time of the year again when we're looking for architects and practices to put themselves forward to take part in the RIBA Student Mentoring scheme. The scheme has proven to be a success over the last two years, and we are anticipating an increase in demand from students. Information about the Mentoring scheme can be found here: https://www.architecture.com/education-cpd-and-careers/studying-architecture/student-mentoring.

The mentoring scheme is intended to give students an insight in to practice and to enhance their learning experience. Mentors will be required to attend a minimum of four meetings between November 2017 and March 2018, with a total commitment of eight hours. Mentors should demonstrate design in practice, offer an insight in to the business of architecture, provide support on professionally-related matters and introduce the concept of professionalism.

With this in mind, it would be great if you are able to support the scheme and mentor students. Registration is simple and can be done online in a couple of minutes via: https://goo.gl/forms/Wg1lfjeelntdtUdp2

In addition to this, we are offering free RIBA membership for the rest of 2017 if you join on now for 2018. This is well worth considering if it's something which you are still looking to do!
