Leading communications specialist, David Jones has been appointed North West regional director for the Forum for the Built Environment (fbe) - the across all platforms, national networking group specialising in construction, property and development.

David, a well-known communications professional in his role as Managing Director of Thirty 30 Media Ltd, oversees marketing, PR and event management for clients in the sector via his Manchester based agency. He commented "It's a great honour to be asked to take over the fbe North West regional director role from Warren Percival. He's been superb in helping to drive the fbe forward in the NW and I hope to continue with the work of making the fbe a vibrant and exciting organisation to be involved with. Key to this will be raising the profile of the organisation, driving membership and continuing to champion the wider construction industry. I greatly look forward to working with all our members, both new and old and also working with other industry likeminded groups to truly represent the industry here in the North West. "

In addition to the ongoing calendar of activities in the region, the board of directors meets quarterly at venues across the UK and is led by national chairman, Howard Gadd who commented "I'm so pleased to welcome David Jones to fbe's national board as the new Regional Director for the North West. David is a well-known face, in both the North West and London construction networking scenes, having worked with some of the biggest names over the decades. We look forward to gleaning some of his wider expertise as we continue to provide a voice for the UK's ever growing construction industry."
