The 16th of September saw the Kent branches annual Golf day, this year taking place at the tricky Hemsted Forest course just outside of Cranbrook.

A well attended event saw 8 teams of 4 heading out with the weather playing it's part in staying clear and dry for a day enjoyed by all who participated.

The pacey and unpredictable greens tested even the most skilled golfers amongst us and some low scores were carded, none more so then Chairman Andy Harper-Rowe's impressively poor  8! A score which unfortunately for Andy, has meant since the day he has been the butt of many a joke, amplified by the fact that he attempted to keep it under wraps.

The day however belonged to co-organiser Mike Bull (on his home course might i add) who won with 35 points, and was awarded with the putter he had actually bought the day before, as a reward for his efforts.

Thank you to Mike and Clive Dowell for organising a fantastic day for all involved, we look forward to next years being bigger and better.
