	Fbe Lincolnshire Branch invites you to a presentation and tour of Lincoln Cathedral&#39;s works department, followed by lunch and a networking opportunity.</p>
<p>
	Originally built in 1092, the Cathedral was commissioned by William the Conqueror and has since had parts rebuilt after severe damage from a fire in around 1141 and an earthquake in 1185, which caused structural damage. From around 1370 until 1549 when the central tower&#39;s spire blew down, it had been the tallest building in the world.</p>

	10.45am &ndash; Meet at the Cathedral Centre (immediately south of the front entrance)<br />
	11am &ndash; A presentation from the Cathedral works manager, followed by a tour of the works department<br />
	12noon &ndash; Buffet lunch and networking<br />
