The Devon & Cornwall branch of the fbe recently held their AGM on Friday 8th April, which saw the induction of Ian Dodimead of the Kier Group as Chairman for the next two years. 

Following the formalities, festivities continues with the annual Spring Dinner held at the New Continental, Plymouth, which saw close to 160 people in the construction and related industries enjoy comedian Aaron James.  The evening concluded with the presentation of a cheque for £2,000 to this years charity the Devon Air Ambulance, a worthy cause nominated by the outgoing Chairman Ian Russell of Design Development Architects, as two of the committee have had the fortune to be rescued by their helicopters

fbe are one of the largest social networking groups in the region, who aim to bring all areas of the building and property industry together for a number of events through the course of the year.  They continue to raise money for charity, with this year's being Jeremiah's Journey, which is a Plymouth based charity that offers support and information to children and their families when someone special has died.

The next event is the popular bowling night to be held again at the Plymouth Megabowl on 17th May 2011 at 6:00pmat a cost of £20 each including a meal.

We then run into our summer programme starting with the Golf Day, being held again at Lanhydrock Golf & Country Club on 15 June 2011, good weather guaranteed, and the Beer Tasting on 21July 2011 at the Bacaro Bar on the Barbican, Plymouth..
